Meet Alvin Ball

Alvin Ball is a proven leader, public servant, and lifelong advocate for safety and community. Born and raised in Greenville, Mississippi, Alvin was brought up by his single mother and grandparents, who instilled in him the values of hard work, discipline, and service to others.

Alvin proudly served more than 20 years in the United States Army, dedicating his career to defending the nation and developing the leadership skills necessary to lead in high-pressure environments. After retiring from military service, he continued his commitment to protecting others by joining the Dallas Police Department, where he served for nearly 12 years, safeguarding neighborhoods and building trust within the community.

With a strong belief that effective leadership requires preparation and knowledge, Alvin holds an Associate Degree in Counterterrorism and a Bachelor’s Degree in Homeland Security. He is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in International Relations with a concentration in Intelligence, further strengthening his understanding of security, policy, and global affairs.

Today, Alvin serves as a Global Security Specialist at GM Financial, supporting physical security operations and risk management initiatives that protect people and critical assets worldwide.

Alvin Ball’s life has been defined by service—service to his country, his community, and the people he is committed to representing. He brings experience, integrity, and a steady hand to leadership, and he is ready to serve with the same dedication he has shown throughout his career.
